Houston will light up when the collaborative band, Galactic, takes center stage at the House of Blues this month.
The quintet has been together for many years, and is significant part of a diverse community in the world of music. The group’s albums aim to reflect a unique and unusual sound combining rock and hip-hop into a revue featuring different vocalists, many from New Orleans.
While creating new material with the many guest singers, the group also occasionally takes a classic and reworks it. Studio albums include Carnivale Electricos, From the Corner to the Block, and Ya-Ka-May.
