Houston gets the brews ready

Big Brew, a week-long celebration, will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in October in Houston.

The event brings forward the art of craft beer and is designed for lovers of beer and people interested in the development of its different Forms. Proceeds from the Big Brew event will benefit the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston.

Produced by Food and Vine Time Productions, Inc., there will be many individual events throughout the city of Houston, with the main events taking place October 23 to 26 at the convention center.

There will be over 1,000 beers featured, with prominent brewers from the craft beer industry on hand to meet and greet. Around 40 Texan breweries will also be exhibiting their products. Brand new beers and rare brew specialties will also be available at the festival.

Flyers are expected to be printed by local Print companies to promote the activities and vendor booth offerings. Flyer printing is an affordable method for marketing events as they are generally printed in color on stock paper. They are easily distributed in person or via Direct Mail, as well.
