The 5K Foam Fest will take place in spring of 2015 in Houston.
Known for its wackiness, the event combines smiling, running, mud, foam, obstacles, and army crawls into the action.
Activities abound and appeal to everyone. With slip ‘n slides, water obstacles, cargo net climbs, colossal walls, and other exciting challenges, the fittest of the fit will survive. Others will have the opportunity to enjoy the adventure while getting some exercise.
Unusual activities, such as running through a carwash, crossing through a giant bounce house, dropping into mud pits, and walking on water, are incorporated into the 5K Foam Fest.
The topper for the challenge is the ‘Death Drop’, consisting of a three-story high inflatable slide. After the race, through the challenging obstacles, runners can be prepared to drop into mounds of white foam in a bubble bath.
