The winter holiday season is coming fast, and an activity in the works will help to put a smile on the face of Houston’s underprivileged kids.
The 2nd annual Youth Christmas Celebration, which has received financial support from The Cam Agency, LLC and other sponsors, will be making sure all of Houston's children have a happy holiday season. Parents are welcome as well, and there will be plenty to see and do during the event.
Families will be invited to visit the vendor tables and booths, and an assortment of raffles will take place. The Houston Health Department will have a screening area set up, and exhibits and face painters will add even more fun to the day. Each child will receive a gift for as long as supplies last. To help make sure nobody goes home empty handed, the organizers are asking families to take no more than two or three toys.
Like many charitable efforts, this celebration is counting on the generosity of the local business community and the general public. The organizers are also interested in hearing from anyone who would like to volunteer.
