Houston dancers invited to multi-day event
Dancers are being welcomed to join in a salsa dance event in Houston at the start of the year.
The Houston Salsa Congress will feature daytime workshops, performances by top salsa artists, nightly social dancing, and an expo of accessories and dancewear.
Live entertainment from local artists will help spice up the event in the evenings. Attendees can expect to see headliners such as Jorge Martinez, Angelo Rito, and more during the event. There will also be competitions and quizzes to keep energy high until late at night, making the event a lively cultural and social highlight.
The organizers offer various pass options, including All-Nights, Full Event, Single Night, and International Attendee. Each of these passes will earn guests access to a variety of events such as pre-parties, social dancing, and even live concerts. Therefore, there will be specialized rooms dedicated to Kizomba, Bachata, Salas, and Zouk.
Being a nonprofit-driven event with proceeds supporting a scholarship fund, planners expect attendees to come from all across Texas and beyond. Organizers of events like this can leverage business card printing to allow for networking during the weekend expo.
Hosted from Wednesday, January 15 through Sunday, January 19, 2026, at the Westin Houston Memorial City and surrounding venues, the Houston Salsa Congress will aim to provide an immersive experience for dance lovers.
