Houston coffee klatch to feature special furry guests

Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) wants to find a loving home for all its charges, and some of its furry friends will be the guests of honor for a March coffee gathering.

Some free-roaming felines will be interacting with the guests at the Cats and Coffee session, which will be part of CAP’s series of monthly activities. While they sip on a cup of java, the attendees will be able to cuddle with the kitties, and there is no advanced registration needed to be a part of this free event.

The meet-and-greet will take place in the venue’s Education Center, with a coffee bar on offer. It will benefit the shelter cats by giving them a chance to socialize and learn to trust people. They will all be adoptable, hoping one of the guests will fall in love and want to add them to their family.

Along with introducing adorable cats, participants will be able to purchase mugs featuring a special graphic design. The proceeds from the day will be used by CAP to help fund its activities.

Cats and Coffee at CAP will be held on Saturday, March 4, and everyone is encouraged to stop by. It will be on offer at 17555 Katy Freeway in Houston, and its organizers are hoping for a great turnout.
