Houston celebrates Dance Salad Festival 2013

Scheduled for March 28-30, 2013, Houston will welcome the Dance Salad Festival 2013 to the Wortham Theater Center on Texas Avenue.

Hosted by the Houston International Dance Coalition, the event consists of a multi-cultural presentation featuring diverse dance styles and disciplines at professional level. Choreographers from across the globe - some well-known and some debuting at the festival - have the opportunity to display their craft to the residents and visitors in Houston. The Wortham Center is the community’s premiere theater complex.

Celebrating its 18th anniversary season, the festival attracts world-class dancers and performers from many countries. Most of the dancers are famous in their own countries and have amassed awards and praise for their talent. A mixture of dance styles will be performed including modern, contemporary, and classical.

Each choreographed piece will stand independently, weaving the evening performances together. Several international and national companies come together in this artistic festival environment.
Evolving into a series of concerts, as well as community outreach programs, Dance Salad Festival has become an annual highlight in entertainment as well as education in the arts. An Afternoon Student Concert encourages high-school students to participate and learn more about dance. Local schools have the opportunity to explore the film and lecture programs.

Brochure printing is often handled by local Print companies for entertainment events. Brochures are usually in a tri-fold layout, presenting six areas within for information and images. They can be distributed en masse prior to the event to create awareness and interest.
