Fundraising gala continues despite changes

The Buffalo Bayou Partnership's fundraising gala will take the form of a picnic this year.

The theme of the event is "Celebrating five years of Buffalo Bayou Park" and funds raised will be earmarked for special upcoming projects. In past years, the event has raised over $600,000.

This year, the event will be socially distanced with virtual options, and face mask are recommended for all attendees.

The gala usually features dinner, art installations, and tours of the park. An honoree is also chosen each year to receive an award. There is also live entertainment and the entire park is lit up. It is viewed as one of the most important networking events in the Houston calendar.

The Buffalo Bayou Partnership was established in 1886. It is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the park, and acts as stewards of the waterfront. The organization has added bike trails, paddle boats, and many other public utilities.

Houston printing services companies are often asked to provide printed advertising for events like this. That includes Flyers that can be mailed and Posters that can be displayed in public places.

The picnic will be held at Buffalo Bayou Park on November 5 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. To learn more about the changes to the gala this year, or for ticket prices, contact the Buffalo Bayou Partnership at 713-752-0314.
