The Bachanalia: Cantatas for the New Year Dinner and Concert is taking place before the end of the year in Houston, raising funds for Ars Lyrica.
The evening will start off with a gourmet dinner at the Hobby Center, beginning at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $75 each.
The concert, which will begin at 9:00 pm, will feature the Bachanalia by J. S. Bach, which was written just for New Year’s Eve. There will also be other seasonal works performed during the night. Some of the performers who are set to appear are Ryland Angel, Melissa Givens, and the Ars Lyrica Houston Ensemble. Concert tickets range in price from $22 to $65.
The evening will continue at 10:30 pm with the Ars Lyrica gala and silent auction. No doubt guests will enjoy cocktails and appetizers leading up to midnight. Tickets for this event are $65 each.
Sponsorships are available for purchase from $500 to $10,000. Donations of items for the silent auction are also still being accepted.
No doubt printed Invitations will be mailed to those who have contributed to Ars Lyrica in the past. Houston Stationery printers are often asked to provide these items.
