The Tamale Festival Houston is taking place next month.
It is set to feature a wide range of tamales from various Latin countries. There will also be food trucks, food concessions, and, of course, plenty of Texan barbecue. A craft beer garden will be open to all visitors aged 21 and over.
Musical entertainment will be provided by groups such as Soul Creatures and Matalachi! There will also be performances by the Braggart Family Side Show Circus.
Vendors will sell a variety of arts and crafts. Items for sale will likely include handmade jewelry, paintings, ceramics, decorative accessories and clothing. Spaces are still available for $150. Food vendors pay $295 or $475.
Guests can purchase Director’s Club tickets for $95. The club includes all-you-can-eat buffets, private seating, meet and greets with the entertainers, and a VIP bar. Ticketholders also get to vote on the Best Tamales in Houston.
Sponsorships are available for $350 and $400. Sponsors may be recognized on Posters or Banners displayed at the event. These items are usually provided by a Houston printing company.
