Comicpalooza 2015 is taking place over four days this May in Houston.
Also known as the Texas International Comic Con, the event is set to feature panels on such topics as Game of Thrones, Battlestar Galactica, and Star Wars, as well as a poetry slam workshop, game tournaments, and cosplay contests. There will also be concerts, sporting events, and demonstrations.
Some of the stars who will be making guest appearances are Jeremy Runner, George Takei, Stan Lee, the cast of the TV show ‘Gotham’ and Henry Winkler. Most will be signing autographs and hosting various panel discussions.
Vendors will be on hand to sell merchandise such as DVDs, costumes, action figures, comic Books, graphic novels, and photographs.
Fans from all over Houston will no doubt want to visit the convention for at least one day. It will likely be advertised all over the city and in the surrounding area, possibly with the use of products provided by poster printing companies.
Comicpalooza 2015 will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center from May 22 to 25. Ticket prices vary; for adults they are $25 each day from Friday and Monday and $35 for Saturday or Sunday, while for children between the ages of 6 and 12 it is $10 for each day.
