The Comicpalooza convention center is taking place next month in Houston for three days.
The convention is a celebration of comic Books, science fiction, fantasy, music, gaming and film, among other things.
The event attracts guest stars from genres, including art, acting and writing. Some of those who will be appearing at this year’s show include Levar Burton and Brent Spiner from “Star Trek: The Next Generation”, Patrick Warburton and James Marsters. There will also be a reunion of ‘Lost’ members. Guest will be taking part in discussion panels, posing for photographs and signing autographs.
A film festival, cosplay contest, and entertainment such as Comedy Sportz will be on hand, along with a charity auction with proceeds going to Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star, and concerts by groups such as September Mourning and Otaku Acoustic.
Guests can also take part in several video and tabletop gaming tournaments. They can also shop in the dealers’ room which will feature items such as collectibles, comics, and action figures.
Houston poster printing companies may be asked to provide products to help advertise this event in the community.
Comicpalooza will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center from May 25 to 27. Passes are $72 for the weekend for adults and $15 for children; one-day tickets are $36 on Friday, $50 on Saturday, and $38 on Sunday. Visit the official website to learn more.
