The US Spring Conference for the Petroleum Industry Data Exchange (PIDX) International is taking place next month in Houston.
The theme of this year's conference is ‘Emerging Digital Transformation Strategies in Oil and Gas’. It is expected to attract industry leaders and technology experts who will discuss new research and technologies.
The first day of the conference is a full-day. It will start off with a PIDX member's meeting. It will then be followed by a speech about the PIDX vision with Stephanie Water and Chris Welsh.
There will be several panel discussions and presentations throughout the day. There will also be coffee breaks and a luncheon. The day will end with a cocktail reception where attendees can network with their peers.
The second day will be made up of workgroup meetings. There will be three in all: Business procedure/business messages, Catalogue and classification, and Downstream.
There will no doubt be plenty of time for attendees to briefly talk about their business and exchange Business Cards. Many of those attending this Houston conference will likely be placing a new business card printing order in advance to ensure they will have enough cards.
