The Run Run Rudolph Virtual 5K will taking place in Houston, starting next month and continuing for the next six weeks. Various runs are being held in several communities in Texas at the same time.
Participants in the event can complete the marathon at a place of their choosing and send the details to the organizers. Those who use applications such as Fitbits can send their statistics in, and can also walk or run on their chosen route. There are only 1,500 spots available so those who are interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
Those who register for the 5K will receive a finisher medal featuring Rudolph with a glowing nose, a race bib, reindeer antlers, and a Rudolph running buff. They can also purchase a long-sleeved finisher shirt.
Participation fees are $32 for residents of the United States and military and $42 for those located outside of the country. Proceeds from the marathon will be donated to several local charities.
The bibs and medals that participants receive for events such as these are often supplied by local Stationery printers. They also help to advertise by providing printed items such as Flyers, Banners, and Posters.
