Annual holiday festival returns to Houston this month

The Magical Winter Lights festival is taking place in Houston beginning this month and running until early next year.

The festival features several themed areas with original and dramatic light displays. Some of these areas are Magical Wonderland, the Mystical Forest, Landmarks of the Word, and Mysteries of the East. Dinosaur Land will also feature amusements rides, games, and educational exhibits. Santa’s Christmas Village will give children an opportunity to talk to Santa Claus up until Christmas Eve.

There will also be a Holiday Market Square with a food court and many vendors selling items appropriate for gift giving. Chinese art and crafts will also be available for purchase.
Entertainment throughout the run of the festival will feature Chinese acrobats and music. In addition, several storybook and cartoon characters will be on hand to pose for photographs.

This is a family-friendly festival that will likely attract many Houston families to celebrate the holiday season. Some of the vendors participating in the festival may invest in signage and Banners from a local printing company to make their booths more attractive.

Magical Winter Lights will be held at Gulf Greyhound Park from November 10 to January 2 from 5:00 to 11:00 PM each night. Tickets for adults are $22 in advance and $25 at the gate, and $15 or $18 for seniors and children aged 4 to 12. Call 832-879-2818 to learn more.
