Annual festival celebrates the culture of Japan

The 26th annual Japan Festival Houston is taking place for two days next month. It is a presentation of the City of Houston and the Houston Parks and Recreation Department.

The festival is set to celebrate all aspects of Japanese culture. There will be music and dance performances, martial arts demonstrations, and a wide variety of Japanese food and drink. Entertainment will be provided on three stages.

Other activities taking place over the two-day festival include demonstrations of ikebana (traditional Japanese) flower arranging, origami, and bonsai. There will also be a Japanese tea ceremony. In addition, there will be a number of vendors on hand to sell items as well as to host activities. Vendors will be selling items such as kimonos, handmade jewelry, and anime.

In addition, there will be a Sake Village where guests can purchase a variety of Japanese drinks including, of course, sake (rice wine).

Sponsorships are still available for purchase to ensure the continuation of this popular annual event.

Houston banner printing firms are often asked by organizers of events like this to provide Banners that can be used to highlight specific areas.
