A community-wide celebration will help Houston to kick off spring, and the entire family will find lots to see and do at the block party planned for Redemption Square.
The plans for the festivities will give the public a chance to do a good turn for students starting their post-secondary studies. The charity of choice is the Lake Houston Rotary chapter’s scholarship and grant program.
Guests at the function will be treated to live music by local school bands and other performers, and several food trucks will be on site as well. Eateries in the city of the festival may have specials on offer, and a garden with seating will be set up where everyone can enjoy cold water, beer, or soft drinks. Fireworks are on the agenda as well.
The younger guests who attend the celebration will find plenty to catch their interest in the children's area, and where they will find carnival games, balloon artists, face painters, and performers. Promotional Products that can be used as prizes for an activity will be on offer at a local printer.
The third annual Block Party at Remediation Square will welcome one and all on Saturday, May 7, and it will be running from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Additional details have been made available on the party’s Eventbrite listing.
