Houston helps fund pet feeding program

An event that will have Houston companion animal lovers smiling will soon be raising funds in support of a local charity that helps pets in need.

IM Houston’s Animeals will be the charity of choice for the 13th annual Wags and Whiskers Luncheon and Pet Fashion Show that will welcome ticket holders at Bayou Place in the Ballroom. The guest will be supporting a program that ensures the client’s pets in the local Meals on Wheels initiative also have food to eat, and over 1,000 pets may benefit.

The plans for the afternoon include a silent auction. Produced by Todd Ramos, a ‘celebrity pet fashion show’ is in the works as well. Lunch will be served, and there will be special surprises on the agenda. The program for the occasion will honor Elizabeth “Chrissy” Tate, who is a longtime supporter of three not for profit and its work. A special tip of the hat has been extended to Super Paw supporters Linh and Fred G. Marshall.

While fundraisers may be focused on raising money for a cause, they often also go a long way towards raising awareness. Programs and other informational materials for a function can be crafted by a brochure printing company.

This opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of fun in support of some of Houston’s furry fends will be held on April 11th. The doors will open at 11:00am.
