Houston prepares for charity dance

The Houston Salsa Congress is coming to town in 2026.

This event will feature daytime workshops, nightly social dances, and live performances from top-tier salsa artists. There will also be specialized rooms dedicated to Zouk, Salsa, Kizomba, and Bachata.

In addition to the dancing, there will be a vendor expo highlighting shoes, dancewear, and accessories. With more than 80 top-tier workshops led by international and national instructors, the event promises a vibrant cultural experience for Latin-dance fans. At events like this, organizers can use business card printing to help sponsors and vendors network with the attendees.

Attendees get to choose from a variety of pass options, including All-Nights, Single Night, Full Event, Performer, and International Attendee passes. All of these grant visitors access to different events, including competitions, social dancing, pre-parties, and live concerts.

The event will accommodate dancers at a comfortable lodging that offers easy access to workshops and shops, with the aim of maximising the quality of performances at the event. Renowned artists such as Jorge Martinez and Angelo Rito will take to the stage, aiming to keep the energy high throughout the event.

Scheduled from Wednesday, January 15 to Sunday, January 19, 2026 at the Westin Houston Memorial City, the dance aims to support a scholarship fund and other outreach efforts. All proceeds will go towards helping such initiatives make a difference in the city.
