Houston Humane Society hosts golf tourney fundraiser

An event that combines fun in the sun with helping animals in need of a second chase is set to see golfers tee off at a Houston course, and the charity of choice for the day will be the Houston Humane Society.

Wildcat Golf Course will soon see golfers tee off in the 37th annual Par Fore Pets Golf Tournament. Many local companies have signed on as sponsors and to provide food and other perks for the attendees, and the play will open in the morning with a shotgun start.

The ticket holders will start their day with breakfast where they can mix and mingle with the other golfers, and Fish City Grill in Pearland will be supplying the lunch. There will be sponsor booths to visit as well as swag and other perks, and a celebrity awards ceremony will wrap up the event. A special hole in one prize will be up for grabs, and there will be other skills testing and friendly competitions.

Golf tournament fundraisers can often be very successful when it comes to raising funds as well as awareness. Whether they win a top prize or go home with one of the Promotional Products offered as swag, the players tend to go home with a smile.

The Par Fore Pets Golf Tournament will see every drive save the life of a companion animal in need on February 24th. Registration will begin at 7:45 am.
