Indoor domesticated rabbits can make very good pets, and Houston residents are being invited to hop on in for a workshop that will teach them how to provide these animals with top-level care.
Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) works to advocate for all animals, and the organization has teamed up with Bunny Buddies for an afternoon of fun and learning. Those who attend will enjoy meeting other rabbit owners, as well as people interested in bringing a rabbit into their home. The organizers explained that, to help prevent the spread of RHDV2 among rabbits and hares, there will not be a social pen on site, though there will be grooming and nail trim stations on hand.
The attendees at the gathering will be invited to learn about house rabbit care, and keeping them healthy and happy will be at the forefront of the event. A kids’ corner will be set up with crafting and other activities, and all guests will be able to discover ways they can get involved with CAP and Bunny Buddies to help make a difference in their home community.
A companion-animal-themed event can benefit both the people who take part and their pets. Local businesses may be asked to consider donating Corporate Gifts for events like this that may be used as prizes for raffles and silent auctions.
The Fall in Love with House Rabbits afternoon will welcome animal lovers on Saturday, February 10. The doors will open at 12:00pm, and the event’s web listing includes details about grooming prices and policies.Get a Free Quote for Corporate Gifts
