The Houston World Series of Dog Shows is taking place next month for five days.
The show will feature breed competitions for over 30 different dog breeds in which they will be ranked by professional judges. The dogs are expected to show traits that are expected in their specific breeds. The winners will then be divided into seven different groups and four ultimate winners will be named Best in Show. It is possible for the same dog to win more than one Best in Show award.
There will also be several performances taking place during the day, including canine Frisbee, musical freestyle, and flyball. There will also be skill competitions and guests can bring their own dog to work with a trainer free of charge. In addition, several dogs from rescue organizations will be available for adoption.
Other activities will include a doghouse competition, silent auction and a student art show. There will also be the McScotty Market that will be selling a variety of dog-related merchandise.
Houston flyer printing companies are often asked to provide marketing products to spread the word about events like this one.
The Houston World Series of Dog Shows will be held at NRG Park from July 18 to 22 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and active military. Contact Vicki Roy at 713-581-6160 to learn more.
