This October will see the return of a popular Houston fundraiser, and the guests at the celebration will be doing a good turn for a local artistic organization.
The Houston Center for Contemporary Craft will soon be hosting Martini Madness, and the festivities will have a WitchCraft theme. It was explained in its listing that the Center is one of the few groups in the nation that focuses on contemporary craft, and this is a signature event.
The celebration, which is restricted to those aged 21 and up, will include both drinks and a variety of light bites. A photo booth and Garden of Fortunes are both in the works, and local recording artists DJ Sun will supply the entertainment. Guests are welcome to wear “witchy” attire, with a prize to be presented to the individual in the best costume. Before they head for home, each ticket holder will be able to choose a piece of handmade glassware to take home.
Tickets for this magical soiree start at $125. Banner printing and other custom decor services for an activity will be on offer at area Print shops.
Martini Madness has made plans to welcome fans of contemporary art for this magical fundraiser starting at 7:00 pm on October 27. A discount will be offered to members of the host organization.
