A holiday-themed event will use the fun of well-loved seasonal music to introduce a symphony experience to Houston’s kids.
The Houston Symphony has scheduled its Holly Jolly Holiday performance for this December, and there are two start times to choose from. They will both be filled with music and fun, and there is more than just musical performances on the agenda.
Performing musicians will be joined by Hamilton star Mandy Gonzalez. The program contains lots of well-known holiday tunes, so the audience can sing along if they wish, all under the baton of the concert conductor Lucas Waldin. Along with the music, the attendees can enjoy the activities set up in the venue’s lobby.
Kids and parents can sip on a hot chocolate, and Santa will be on hand to spend some time with the young guests. There will be other interactive activities as well.

This morning with Santa and the symphony will be on offer on Saturday, December 23 at Jones Hall. The start times are 10:00 am and 11:30 am.
