Houston park to host holiday gathering

A free event is set to be hosted this December in Houston, and this outdoor activity will bring an evening of sight and sound to Buffalo Bayou Park.

Phil Kline’s Unsilent Night, which is an interactive holiday-themed event, will be open to people of all ages. It will begin with a reception held in the site’s Water Works, and this will be followed by a festive procession navigating the site’s trails.

The informal reception will give friends and neighbors a chance to mingle, and hot chocolate and other refreshments will be served, along with beer provided by of Saint Arnold Brewing Company. The kids can enjoy some crafting, and Santa will be on hand to meet them as well. After this, the walk will begin, and while the group enjoys the outing, they will be treated to music by composer Phil Kline. There’s no registration fee, but RSVPs will be appreciated.

The holidays often see many festive activities on offer. Seasonal event Catalogs make it easier for the public to include them in their plans, and these may be produced by area Stationery printers.

Unsilent Night will welcome one and all on December 11, and the fun is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm. Anyone who would like to submit an RSVP can do so by visiting its Fare Harbor listing.
