The organizers of the annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo recently announced that one of its committees has plans in the works for a themed afternoon that it hopes will put the “fun” in fundraising.
The Llama and Alpaca Committee will be welcoming ticket holders for its 2023 Boot Scootin’ Ball, which has come to be one of the event’s most popular activities. It includes a dinner and auction, and both those involved in the rodeo and livestock show, as well as the public, are encouraged to attend.
The plans for the afternoon will open with a welcome to all of the guests, and after this, the buffet will be open. It will remain so throughout the celebration, and local performer Dave Lewis will supply the live entertainment. It will be a chance for old friends to catch up, and the suggested attire for the celebration is rodeo casual. Individual tickets start at $160, and this includes the food as well as both hard and soft drinks.
Sponsoring a local event is one of the ways a business can show its community spirit. Event planners often thank its supporters by including their Logo Design in the materials used to market the occasion to the public.
The Norris Conference Centers will be rolling out the red carpet for this annual gathering on January 29. Its doors will open at 1:00 pm, and then festivities will draw to a close at 5:00 pm.
