Houston foodies set to celebrate

Houston’s foodies will be heading to a local venue for an event that will celebrate the city’s community of mobile food service operators.

The Greater Houston Food Truck Festival is right around the corner, and it promises to serve up both food and fun. There will be options for everything from a light snack to a full meal, dessert or beverages, and admission starts at $25.09. Skip the line passes are also available, as are table tickets.

Those who attend the festivities will be able to choose their favorite menu items, and it will also be an opportunity to treat their palate to something new. Networking will be the order of the day,and along with the food, trucks, other vendors will also be on hand. The local music scene will be represented by live performers, and parking will be available for a small fee.

Mobile eateries can be an alternative to a typical brick and mortar establishment, and a festival gives these operations a time to shine. Local printing service companies can design, prepare and install vehicle wraps so that they look their best for a special event.

The Greater Houston Food Truck Festival will be rolling into The Fairgrounds located at 13711 Almeda School Road on August 24th. It will be open from 1:00 am until 10:00 pm. The organizers can be contacted at 713-902-3760.
