Houston coffee morning to be cats meow

A Houston program that gives cats and people a chance to interact over a cup of coffee has scheduled its September session, and it will provide two hours of furry fun.

The team at Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) will be brewing up a fresh pot of coffee for the attendees at its Cats and Coffee morning. This activity will benefit both its human and feline guests, and while people meet and cuddle the cats, they will be helping them to become better socialized.

The cats, which will be free roaming, will be able to spend time with any of the attendees they wish, and since they will be adoptable, it may help them find a loving forever home. Admission is free, and travel Mugs that have been printed with a CAP-themed graphic design will be available for purchase. They will be priced at $15 each. All of the monies raised will be used to care for the organization's charges.

A coffee session or other casual activity can be a fun idea for a fundraiser, and it can also go a long way towards raising awareness of a cause. A brochure printing company will be happy to lend a hand by preparing informational materials to distribute.

CAP will be welcoming the public for its Cats and Coffee meet and mingle on Saturday, September 2. It will open its doors at 9:00 am, and it will be on offer at 17555 Katy Freeway.
