Festival to satisfy the biggest sweet tooth

The Sweet Desserts Fest is taking place this June in Houston.

A fundraiser for Carefull of Love, this annual festival is so popular that there are two time slots during which people can attend: 12:00 to 2:00 PM, and 3:00 to 5:00 PM.

There will be over 20 dessert vendors who will be selling sweet treats like donuts, vegan and sugar-free dishes, ice cream, and brownies. There will also be cocktails available for purchase, especially mimosas.

Organizers are still taking applications from vendors. They are expected to offer mainly unique desserts. Vendors have a choice of 8x8-foot, 10x10-foot, 10x20-foot booths, and food truck spaces. Those interested should contact the organizers for prices.

There is also a need for volunteers, who must agree to work for a minimum of four hours. In return, they receive a T-shirt, lunch, and access to the vendors’ hall.

Sweet Tooth tickets cost $25 each. These include access to an exclusive lounge, unlimited mimosas, and appetizers. Purchasers must be 21 or older.

Banner printing firms in Houston often provide their products to organizers of events like this one.

The festival is planned to take place at The Castle on June 7 from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. General admission tickets are $10. To become a vendor, volunteer, or learn more about the event, call 832-881-0882.
