There are two golf tournaments set to take place this November in the Houston area. Both are fundraisers for the Houston West Chamber of Commerce.
The 18th annual Business Golf Classic, which was supposed to take place this past April, will finally take place. This tournament is a scramble format and fees are $200 per player. This fee includes 18 rounds of golf, the use of a cart and balls. It also includes lunch, dinner, and prize drawings. Prizes will be awarded for putting, the longest drive and hole-in-one. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase.
Taking place the same day is the Ladies on the Green tournament. This tournament is exclusively for women. In addition to golf play, there will be etiquette and golf lessons, a happy hour with cocktails and appetizers and dinner. Player fees are $100 each.
Golf tournaments are a networking opportunity and Houston business card printing firms are often asked to provide cards by interested golfers. It is simple to put some Business Cards in a golf bag or purse and hand them out on the course.
