Celebration starts off the holidays in Houston

The Holiday in the Park celebration is taking place in Houston on the first Saturday of next month. It is presented by Pop Shop America and the Downtown Houston Management District.

There will be over 30 arts and crafters who will be selling their original works of art. Among the vendors taking part this year are Black Dahlia Curiosity, Knotty Woodworx, and Brenda Grands. Visitors are sure to find something to buy for a friend, neighbor, or family member. All items for sale must be handmade, true vintage, or fair trade.

Visitors can also make their own crafts at the Pop Shop America holiday crafting station. There will also be a photo booth, live musical entertainment, and unlimited mimosas. Food and drink will also be available for purchase.

Organizers are still accepting applications for vendors; the application fee is $9.97.

No doubt many people will want to visit this show to get a start on their holiday shopping, or to get that last perfect gift. Houston flyer printing companies often provide advertising for such events.

Holiday in the Park will be held at Market Square Park on Saturday, December 7 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission is free of charge and parking is $5. For more information, or to become a vendor, visit the official event website.
