The annual Tastemaker Awards are taking place in August of this year. The event was originally slated to take place on April 2, but was delayed due to social distancing efforts against COVID-19.
The awards are hosted by CultureMap and emceed by H-Town and Bun B. Proceeds will be donated to Second Servings and the Southern Smoke Foundation.
The top restaurants and bars are honored by being chosen as best in 10 separate categories, including Pastry Chef of the Year, Bartender, Rising Star Chef, Best New Restaurant, and Best Neighborhood Restaurant. The winners, which are chosen through a series of editorials on the CultureMap website, will be providing samples of their food and premium cocktails.
VIP tickets are available for $115 in advance or $125 at the door. They include an hour extra of food tastings, a dedicated bar and a special food pairing.
This is a popular annual event that attracts hundreds of people each year. To help spread the word about such events, Houston flyer printing firms are often asked to provide advertising materials.
