Fort Worth workshop to help demystify business finance
The Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce recently announced that a local workshop may help to take the mystery out of finance for the non-financially minded professional.
The listing for the "Finance for Non-Financial Professionals” short course explained that it may be helpful to managers and others who would like to brush up on their skills in this area. It will include a review of the terminology that is often used when discussing finances, and the activity will run for two days.
The registration fee for the function is $1,895, and this includes the workshop as well as breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Topics on the agenda range from financial reporting and accounting, to understanding the analysis of cash flow. The basics of accounting will also be discussed, and everyone will walk away with a better understanding of balance sheets, income statements, and other reports.
It will run throughout both days, and will be held at TCU Neeley School of Business in Fort Worth.
Once they have successfully completed their training, the participants will each receive a certificate of completion. Stationery printers can both design and print a variety of certificates and other business documents.
The Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce's Finance for Non-Financial Professionals workshop will begin on March 5. It will continue on the next day, and discounts are being offered to TCU alumni, staff, and faculty, as well as veterans and not-for-profit organization employees.
