Annual Philly parade to include VIP guest of honor

The oldest Thanksgiving Day parade is set to take to the streets of Philadelphia this November, and this well-loved tradition is expected to draw a large crowd.

Preparations for the annual Philadelphia Thanksgiving day Parade, which is even older than the one hosted by Macy’s in New York, are now underway, and the procession will be 1.4 miles long. Its starting point will be located at Market and 20th Streets, and from there, it will follow a route that winds along Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

The parade will include lots of entries, including floats and gigantic balloons, which the planners hope will wow the crowd. Every so often, it will pause so the spectators can get a closer look, and a variety of celebrities will add some extra excitement to the day. The guest of honor will be Santa himself, and he will wrap up the procession with a hearty greeting to all.

Banner printing and other services for a large annual event like this can be obtained from a local Print shop. Its graphic design team can work with its clients to create custom designed materials that can withstand being used outdoors, making them a good fit for a parade or other outside activity.

This year's Thanksgiving Day Parade has been scheduled for November 26, although it is recommended to double check the details as the event nears.
