Philadelphia picnic planned for local veterans
No matter what their branch of service may have been, a Philadelphia event will welcome all veterans this October.
The All Veterans Reunion Picnic will be a time for vets of any age to come together to connect and support one another. The general public is encouraged to attend as well, and the function has been scheduled for Independence National Historic Park.
The five her long celebration will be held in the afternoon, and it's anticipated that thousands of former service members will be on hand along with their friends, family members and supporters. Military bands and other entertainers will be performing, and there will be friendly competitions in a variety of areas between the branches. Veteran owned businesses will be showcased in the vendor market, and the resource alley area will link attendees with supports in their local community. World War 2 , Korean and Vietnam veterans will all receive special honors.
To help make the event a big success, the organizers are seeing assistance from volunteers. A print professional can prepare a special graphic design to incorporate on the corporate gifts such as tee shirts, hoodies and other gear ordered for an event’s volunteers and other supporters.
