Summer art camp promotes youth education in Gibsonia
Gibsonia youth will have a new learning opportunity this summer, with a crafting summer camp promoting new activities and interests in town.
The Paint, Print, and Draw Summer Art Camp has opened registration for the summer, and parents in the Gibsonia area are encouraged to help their children enroll for an enriching experience. The session is geared toward students between six and 12 years old, where they learn several printing, drawing, and painting techniques from kind and experienced instructors.
Parents can choose to enroll their children in the morning or all-day sessions, with a $40 discount available. All children must be capable of using the restroom independently, remain engaged for the three-hour sessions, and follow instructions well. Poster printing is a colorful way to promote such camps and summer events to parents through images and text.
All art materials are provided to students in the summer camp, and parents are asked to pack a snack and a water bottle for their child for a comfortable experience. Students will also receive a complimentary t-shirt to commemorate their participation in the camp. Children will bring home their finished works to share what they made with family.
The camp will be held at 620 Warrendale Road in Gibsonia, from Monday, July 7th, to Friday, July 11th, at 1:00 PM. All-day registration costs $490 per child.
