Golfers in Gibsonia who want to play for a good cause should save the date, as a local wrestling team is organizing a friendly competition as a fundraiser.
The Swing for the Singlet: Hampton Wrestling Golf Outing is coming up in Gibsonia this May, and area golfers will want to dust off their clubs and hit the driving range in preparation to show off their skills. The event, which supports the Hampton Wrestling program, will feature a full day of prizes, community, and competitive fun on the links.
This will be the inaugural event of what organizers plan to turn into an annual gathering. The money raised by participants will fund travel, tournament entry fees, team activities, and essential equipment. The Pheasant Ridge Golf Club in Gibsonia will be hosting this year’s competition, which is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 9th. Tickets are limited and cost $500 per foursome online.
