An organization has planned a fall-themed fundraiser in aid of cancer support, and the planners are anticipating that it will be as successful as it is fun.
The Rugged Pumpkin Run will take place at Doylestown’s Hellerick Family farm, and the event will raise money in support of programming administered by Rachel's Helping Hands Cancer Foundation, which is a registered 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit group. As space are expected to fill up fast, anyone who is interested may want to register early, and the whole family can participate
After they have arrived for the event and checked in, each registrant will receive a pumpkin to decorate and carry over a series of obstacles, and when the word is given, everyone will take on the course, which will be two laps around the farm. The goal is to arrive at the finish line with their cargo intact, and they are advised to be careful as they go.
By offering the public a chance to participate in a fun family event, the planner of a function like this may be able to meet their fundraising goals. A flyer printing company will have a variety of ways of spreading the word, and these will be available at a wide selection of price points.
The Rugged Pumpkin Run will welcome families on October 30. More information for the public and potential sponsors is available on its website.
