Local woman fills new position at YMCA

The Central Bucks Family YMCA has created the position of Chief Development Officer and selected Doylestown resident Meredith Betz to fill it.

Betz was formerly employed by the Nemours DuPont Hospital for Children, where she assisted in fundraising. It is anticipated by her new employers that the leadership skills she honed there will assist the organization with its philanthropic goals.

A statement from the organization said:

“Betz is a fundraising executive with a broad background in leading organizations to meet and exceed their philanthropic goals.”

Betz attended Bank Street College of Education, where she received her Master’s degree in Education. Betz also attended the University of Pennsylvania, gaining an Organizational Dynamics Master’s degree as well.

Central Bucks County Family YMCA President/CEO Zane Moore said:

“Meredith brings a wealth of experience and expertise our organization which will be instrumental in our efforts to meet the needs of our community.”
