Local meteorologist to give college presentation

Later this week, Doylestown resident Michelle Grossman will present the second lecture in a series on climate at Delaware Valley College.

Grossman will be delivering one of several sessions being hosted by the Bucks County Audubon Society. Her presentation will be on climate and weather modeling and will take place at 2:00 pm on March 22 at the college’s Life Science Building.

The NBC10 meteorologist has over a decade of experience working for the Philadelphia station conceptualizing, writing and presenting weather stories. She attended Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree and holds a Broadcast Meteorologist Certificate from Mississippi State University.

Grossman’s program is the second of four lectures being hosted by the Bucks County Audubon Society. The presentations concern climate change and its effects on weather, birds, and humans. A flyer printing service is the least expensive and easiest method of notifying the public of these lectures.

The third lecture will be presented by Delaware Valley College Biology professor, Gregory George, Ph.D. on April 19. On May 17, the fourth and final lecture will be co-presented by the National Audubon Society’s chief scientist, Gary Langham, and former local Congressman Jim Greenwood, who is a National Audubon board member.

The lectures are free to the public and parking for the presentations is available in the lot located in front of the Life Science Building.
