House party tickets go on sale in Doylestown

Tickets are now available for the Empty House Party, which will kick start the Bucks County Designer House & Gardens fundraiser.

The Village Improvement Association of Doylestown is providing the public the opportunity to view this year’s designer house prior to approximately 30 designers each doing his or her part to transform the property. The Villa d’Braccia in Chalfont is a Mediterranean-style featuring a widespread use of tile and marble.

Empty House Party attendees will enjoy light refreshments that will include craft beer, wine, and, in keeping with the style of the house, an olive oil tasting session. Guests can also enjoy numerous opportunities to participate in a silent auction and purchase raffle tickets. The designers will be on hand with their design boards to share their visions for the property.

The Empty House Party takes place at the Bucks County Designer House & Gardens from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on March 1. The address is 745 Stump Rd., Chalfont. Tickets are $30 at the door and $25 if purchased before this Sunday, February 22.

The Empty House Party is only the beginning of the House & Gardens’ contribution to the Village Improvement Association of Doylestown’s fundraising efforts for Doylestown Hospital. Maximizing the funds raised by this and other events associated with the project will largely be dependent on the effective use of flyer and poster printing services.
