Golfers to play fore their neighbors in need

As another golf season gets underway, Doylestown players are already adding their names to the list of registrants for a day of fun in the sun with a purpose.

The Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic offers free medical and other services to low-income residents of Bucks County, and the 25th annual Golf Outing will raise funds to help it in its work. Whether they love to golf or just want to help out, all are welcome, and the organizers have put out a call to area businesses in search of their support.

Several sponsorship packages are available for the tournament, and this year's Presenting Sponsor is Good Stuff Thrift. Penn Community Bank is the platinum sponsor and there are several companies and individuals that have chosen to serve as gold and silver level supporters.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available at the time of writing, and anyone who would like to discuss them is asked to call 215-345-2185. They all offer ways for a business, professional, or individual to show their community spirit. If applicable, their name and Logo Design will be made visible in the function’s marketing materials.

This chance to do a good turn on the golf course will be offered to golfers on Monday, June 3. Doylestown Country Club will be the course of choice for the day.
