Doylestown residents to channel their inner green thumb

Rose Bank Winery will soon be hosting a function where the public will be invited to create their very own planter and hanger, and while they work, they can enjoy sipping on a glass of wine.

Houseplants can bring a touch of green to any home, and succulents (including cacti) are a popular choice. All of the materials needed to construct a hanging planter will be provided to those who purchase a ticket for this evening of creativity. The registration fee is $50, and this can be a great girl’s night out or date night idea for Doylestown couples.

Each ticket holder will receive a planter as well as the macramé hanger, greenery, stones, moss and the succulents needed to complete the project. The guests will also receive a glass of Rosebank Winery wine, and the event will be facilitated by a representative of Terrarium Therapy.

The planners of this creative evening noted that previous ones tended to sell out quickly, as seating is limited. Laminated instruction sheets that provide care tips for succulents can be prepared by Print shops to give to each participant in an event like this, which can help to ensure the plants will thrive in their new home.

This chance for locals to channel their inner green thumb will be offered on June 10. The doors will open at 6:30 pm.
