The winter holiday season can be a time for families to come together in a spirit of fun. In Doylestown, parents and kids alike are welcome to come out an explore a local landmark and participate in a special celebration.
Guests at Fonthill Castle’s open house family celebration will be treated to an afternoon that will feature lots of old-fashioned activities. Admission is free, and it has been rumored that a visitor who will be all dressed in red, will be coming in just so he can be a part of the fun.
The ground floor of the museum will be all decorated for the season, and the public will be invited to visit the crafting stations where they can make one of their very own to take home. Both hot chocolate and hot cider will be offered, and the holiday music will help to create a festive atmosphere.
The gathering will be spread out between Fonthill Castle and the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works. Local Stationery printers can be called upon to provide themed coloring and activity sheets, Banners, signage, and other items that can help to make an even like this complete.
