Doylestown party to introduce plant propagation

A Doylestown activity will help point the way to home gardening success, teaching that plant propagation can be surprisingly straightforward.

Houseplants will be the stars of the show for a session on offer at The Coterie Commons, which is located at 72 North Main Street. Tickets will be available until Tuesday, April 18, priced at $65 each.

During the activity, facilitator Taylor Cotilla will share tips and tricks the attendees can put into action when caring for their own plants at home. Everyone will be encouraged to socialize and have fun, and at the end of the activity, the learners will walk away with two propagations as well as two baby plants to care for. All items needed for the project will be supplied, but it is described as a “BYO event,” suggesting that people may bring along any items they wish.

Houseplants offer a way to bring life into a home, but not everyone knows how to properly look after them. Attending a class or workshop may give them these skills, and the participants may appreciate receiving tip sheets to help them get started. These can be prepare by area Stationery printers.

This propagation party will welcome ticketholders on Friday, April 21. It will run from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and tickets are available now via the event listing.
