Doylestown online sessions to benefit new business owners

Starting a small business can be a real leap of faith, and Doylestown residents who are thinking of taking on the challenge this year may benefit from a business series on offer in Bucks County.

The county is offering a six-workshop series that will take place online, exploring the process of getting a business up and running, right from the ground floor. The sessions will be led by a coach and mentor from SCORE Bucks, and have been designed by entrepreneurs who have found business success.

Once an individual has signed up to take part, they will be able to sit in on each of the six sessions. They will be walked through the process of setting up a business plan and concept, as well as the basics of marketing, cash flow, and financing. They can take part in as many or as few of the workshops as they wish, and the schedule for each runs for one and a half hours.

When making plans to offer such learning opportunities, it can be a smart move for the organizer to prepare packages of learning materials for the registrants. These can be prepared by an area printing services company, and include everything from informational Brochures to promotional Pens.

The “Simple Steps for Starting Your Business” series will begin next Monday, January 11, and end on March 22. All sessions start at 11:30 am.
