A visit to a nesting colony of the largest heron species to be found in North America is on offer for Doylestown birders, and it will be led by a local subject matter expert.
Diane Allison will be the guide for an outing that will pay a visit to a property near Quakertown Swamp that is home to a nesting colony of great blue herons. The trip can be enjoyed by Heritage Conservancy Members and non-members alike and the listing explained that those who are interested can apply this fee to their membership price.
The group will first take in a presentation by Allison, who will share her knowledge of these large wading birds, including their migration patterns, diet, habits, and ecology After this, the birders will head to the nesting site so they observe the birds as they raise a family. They will have a chance to learn about ethical birding, and all levels of ability are welcome.
Those who take part in birding often enjoy meeting others who participate the hobby. A poster printing company will have many cost-effective ways of promoting an activity to the public.
