Doylestown invited to get crafty
Fall pumpkins usually have a limited lifespan, but those that will be crafted during a Doylestown workshop will keep on looking great for years to come.
The Doylestown Parks and Recreation Department is offering seats in its ceramic pumpkin workshop, and both residents and non-residents are welcome to be part of the fun. A discount off the registration fee will be available for locals only, and the class will be held in the Doylestown Township Meeting Room.
The registrants will be preparing handmade ceramic pumpkins, and all instruction and materials will be provided. The finished projects can be used as part of a display or showcase on their own, and the facilitator will walk the group through hand building, adding texture, and utilizing a ceramic glaze. The completed pieces will be available for pick-up about one week later in the Township’s Office.
Learning a new skill can be a lot of fun, especially as part of a group of other newbies. A flyer printing company can provide a range of support for an activity, including effective marketing materials.
This fall-themed introduction to the art of working with ceramics will be held on Saturday, October 19. The venue can be found at 425 Wells Road, and everyone is asked to arrive by no later than 10:00 am.
