Doylestown golfers itching for an excuse to spend a day out on the course will soon be able to take part in an event that will raise funds in support of a local not-for-profit group.
Both autistic and neurotypical people often face many challenges when it comes to finding safe and supportive housing, and the Neuro Diverse Living (NDL) Champions of Hope Golf Tournament will offer them a hand up. The organizers explained that it aids its membership by building cohousing communities, which benefits both the neurodivergent individual and their whole family.
The registrants in the event, which will be held at North Hills Country Club, will include 18 holes, and it will follow a four-person scramble format. There will be a shotgun start, as well as lunch and a cocktail reception, and awards will be presented to the top golfers. A silent auction is on the agenda, which can be accessed online before the date of the event.
The organizers of the fundraiser noted that they greatly appreciate the support of the area’s corporate community, which has helped to make the event possible. The Logo Design of all of these supporters has been incorporated into the website for the tournament.
The NDL Champions of Hope will welcome golf lovers on August 23, and its silent auction is open for bidding now. The system for this can be accessed by visiting the function’s website.
