Doylestown fundraiser to add some extra magic to the holidays

A Doylestown fundraiser that will spread some joy to local kids while also helping community members affected by poverty is accepting bookings.

Parents and caregivers are welcome to book a call from Santa for a special child in their life. He will make the calls between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm on the evening of the event, and since the calls will be personalized, they can be extra special for the boy or girl who answers the phone.

When registering their son or daughter for the phone calls, parents will be asked to give their child’s name as well as their mail address, phone number, and age. They can also leave special instructions, and “Santa” will follow these during the conversation.

This activity is being offered by the Bucks County Bar Association, and the cost is $10 each. The proceeds are slated for donation to The Bucks County Opportunity Council, and corporate support for the function is courtesy of PNC Wealth Management. The final date to register a child for the Phone Calls From Santa fundraiser is December 6. The calls will be made to the kids on December 11.
